Location: Dudley. Salary: £30,116 per annum. Hours: 37.5 hours per week, between 8.00am – 6.00pm. Contract: Permanent, full-time.

Our client is seeking an experienced Collections Coordinator to join their busy Collections team. In this hands-on role, you’ll help care for and bring the collection to life by cataloguing objects, supporting exhibitions, and uncovering new stories along the way. Working with colleagues, volunteers and partners, you’ll play a key part in keeping the collections organised, accessible and engaging for all.

What will you be doing?

  • Managing collections through cataloguing, auditing, and tracking movement.
  • Developing object handling/storage practices and the Museum's collecting policy.
  • Researching, acquiring, and installing items/collections in existing and new buildings.
  • Contributing to the development of the Museum’s collections review project.
  • Supporting disposals, returns, deliveries (including exhibition deliveries).
