Senior Design Engineer
with an electro-mechanical skillset, it would be even more amazing if you have electronics exposure too e. g.
PCB development, Io T implementation, embedded software/C++ This
hybrid
role is based in
Basildon, Essex
with 2 days per week working from home.
Salary
up to £60,000
depending on your skills and experience plus annual performance related bonus.
It's important that you have a substantial background developing and designing electro-mechanical productswithin a manufacturing environment; there is a big focus on NPD.
You should have a working knowledge of plastics injection moulding processes, plus understanding of fluid dynamics, hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, pumps, etc.
Strong technical design skills are important here, working to an advanced level with both 2D CAD and 3D modelling via
Solidworks You will ideally degree-level qualified in a relevant subject e. g.
Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, plus excellent project management skills.
