We are looking for a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading manufacturing specialist in Burntisland, Scotland.
You will support a fast-paced production environment by diagnosing complex electrical issues and contributing to long-term reliability projects.
- Responding to electrical breakdowns quickly to minimise production downtime.
- Diagnosing and repairing faults in PLC systems, control panels, drives, motors, and sensors.
- Carrying out scheduled electrical Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks.
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records and supporting condition-based monitoring.
- Actively contributing to automation upgrades and efficiency improvement projects.
- Assisting with the installation and commissioning of new plant equipment.
A time-served Electrical apprenticeship or equivalent qualifications.
- Solid experience working within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong technical competence in fault finding on PLCs, inverters, and control systems.
- The ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics.
Friendly working hours Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm and Friday half day 6am to 10am. 1 in 4 Saturdays with paid overtime. Generous holiday 25 days plus 8 bank holidays.
