The team and children's social care
Following their most recent Ofsted inspection, inspectors noted sustained outstanding services with an emphasis on continual improvement. The service uses the Family Safeguarding Model in collaboration with families, supported by Motivational Interviewing. They provide specialist help for children experiencing neglect or domestic abuse and work closely with the family safeguarding team to improve home conditions and parenting capacity. When risks escalate, managers take decisive action with a focus on the lived experience of children. Permanence planning meetings support timely decision-making and exploring all permanence options.
