This is a brilliant opportunity for an organised, people‑oriented administrator who wants a varied role with real responsibility — at the heart of a globally respected organisation that genuinely invests in its people. You’ll be joining the administration team at Adelphi Real World (ARW) — a global healthcare consultancy based in Bollington, East Cheshire, whose work shapes the understanding and treatment of diseases worldwide. Your focus will be on keeping things moving: coordinating travel for senior staff, managing logistics, and providing calm, efficient support to a busy, high‑performing team.

This isn’t a back‑office role. There’s no box‑ticking, no micromanagement, and no being buried in routine. It’s about being trusted, using your judgement, and taking real ownership of the things that matter — so that the people around you can focus on doing their best work.

What you’ll do:

  • Coordinate all travel arrangements for senior staff — flights, accommodation, ground transfers, hire cars, and e‑ticket distribution — via the company’s booking platform.
  • Produce clear, accurate travel itineraries that people can rely on.
  • Monitor and track travel and conference budgets.
  • Process and reconcile expenses for senior team members.
  • Book meeting rooms and arrange catering for internal meetings.
  • Handle incoming phone and email queries professionally and efficiently.
  • Arrange post and deliveries, and greet visitors on reception from time to time.
  • Provide general administrative support within the scope of the role — and be ready to turn your hand to what’s needed.

What you’ll need:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in an administration, EA, PA, or coordination role.
  • A track record of supporting senior stakeholders in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to re‑prioritise quickly when things change.
  • Strong written and verbal communication — professional, warm, and appropriately assertive.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • The composure to manage real complexity without letting it show.
  • A proactive mindset — you spot what needs doing and get on with it.
  • Experience in travel booking or coordination is desirable but not essential — what counts is your willingness to get to grips with the systems and your instinct for doing the detail well.
