Calling all procurement professionals with leadership experience! We are currently looking for 3 people to lead sourcing teams in Healthcare.
Our partner is a global procurement organisation, with major buying power. This year alone they’ll procure nearly £1.5bn worth of medical and health-related products.
What can we offer?
- Up to £58k per annum, £60k for the right candidate
- 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays, healthcare, solid pension
- Hybrid working, at least 2 days per week from home - Office in Central Birmingham
- Genuine professional development opportunities, enhanced pension and opt-in health and dental coverage
So who would be good?
Loads of our partners are public sector organisations, so if you have worked for a council or local authority in a procurement role, you’d be fab! As would anyone who has experience with tender frameworks. If you have knowledge of the pharmaceutical or pathology industry, that would be the icing on the cake.
You’ll need to be a good line manager or have the knowledge and skills to grow into one. Experience of developing junior staff members or being a well-established officer is key.
The type of procurement we do is end to end and often quite technical. People used to running full tender exercises (not quotes or purchasing from a PSL) are encouraged to throw their hat in the ring. People who have developed specifications alongside product experts would also thrive.
As a person, you’d need to thrive in our highly collaborative and diverse workspace. Lots of our categories share suppliers, and as a worldwide organisation, we deal with lots of people and cultures. We’d like good humans who enjoy the experience of working with others.
