Are you an experienced electrician looking to inspire the next generation of industry professionals? This is an excellent opportunity for an electrical professional or graduate to move into education, with support available to gain teaching qualifications. Based in Ashford, Surrey, this position is easily commutable from Walton-on-Thames, Woking, Weybridge, Hampton, Staines-upon-Thames, Egham, Chertsey and surrounding areas.
Salary: Circa £43,000 per annum depending on qualifications and experience, the position is full time, 37 hours per week | 52 weeks per year. About the role: As an Electrical Lecturer (Installation), you will deliver high-quality T-Level and vocational programmes from Level 1 introductory courses through to Level 3 qualifications. You will support learners to develop the technical skills, confidence and professional behaviours needed to succeed in the electrical industry.

- Assess, review and monitor learner progress, maintaining accurate records

- Contribute to a supportive and collaborative learning environment
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Strong electrical industry experience with relevant professional qualifications (Degree/HND or equivalent)
- AM2 or Gold Card experience is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage learners
- Teaching qualifications, or a willingness to work towards these with full support provided
- Good IT skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
