Working for this well-established commercial food product manufacturer and supplier as a Development Chef, you’ll have the opportunity to innovate and bring new products to life, working closely with customers to present the products you’ve helped to create.
Location: Biggleswade, Bedfordshire, with some national and international travel required from time to time.
Role Type: 1 Year Maternity Cover Contract
Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
Benefits: 25 days annual leave (plus Bank Holidays), 6% Pension, Life Assurance cover x 2 salary
The Role: You’ll play a pivotal role in driving innovation and delivering exceptional products aligned with business strategy and customer category plans. You’ll interpret customer briefs to create innovative concepts, present confidently to stakeholders, and ensure recipes meet nutritional and market requirements. Proactively identifying trends and opportunities, you’ll enhance category offerings while pushing technical and production boundaries to maximise efficiency and cost savings. You’ll also maintain a focus on health and safety and support cross-site development by working closely with technologists and chefs, occasionally traveling to other locations as needed.
