What You’ll Be Doing
- Shape, refine, and continuously improve the group’s procurement strategy and commercial capability.
- Keep things running smoothly under the Procurement Act 2023 and Public Contracts Regulations 2015.
- Lead complex, high-value procurement projects while embedding top-tier supplier and contract management frameworks.
- Build, coach, and inspire a high-performing procurement team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience leading procurement in the public sector or other complex, regulated environment
- (e. g social housing)
- Expert knowledge of public procurement law, ideally with Procurement Act 2023 Practitioner Level certification.
- Commercial acumen, fantastic negotiation skills, and a strategic mindset.
• MCIPS (or working towards it) is a massive plus!
