Are you an ambitious Assistant Management Accountant eager to shape confident, data-driven decision making across the organisation? Reporting to the Management Accountant, you will deliver accurate, timely and insightful financial information supporting both operational and strategic goals. This is an exciting Junior Accountant opportunity with broad exposure to management accounting and a visible impact in a forward-thinking business.
Responsibilities
- Produce monthly management accounts and variance analysis
- Support budget holders through regular financial planning discussions and contribute to annual budgeting and Board reporting
- Build trusted relationships across the business, helping managers understand their numbers and achieve strong commercial outcomes
- Manage balance sheet reconciliations and prepare performance statistics and ad-hoc analysis
- Complete external financial returns and actively contribute to continuous improvement across finance processes
Qualifications
- AAT qualified or equivalent experience
- Strong grounding in accounting principles and a proven ability to deliver high-quality financial reporting, analysis and value-for-money insights
- Collaborative, commercially aware and confident working within governance and compliance frameworks
Location
Liverpool - Hybrid working across home, our Liverpool office and our HMS office in Stonebridge.
