Maintenance Technician who has a background in industrial settings e. g. logistics, warehousing, manufacturing?

Join the growing team at this brand new site on the outskirts of

Sittingbourne, Kent to help keep things running smoothly, safely, and efficiently.

Working on a rotating days/nights shift pattern

(working alternate weekends), you will deliver planned maintenance and rapid-response repairs across the site.

Salary £36,400 for this permanent, full time position, where you'll be working days for the first two weeks (6am-6pm), then nights for the second two weeks (6pm-6am)

  • What You’ll Do
  • Complete routine checks and timely repairs on building fabric, door locks, racking, wall painting, minor plumbing e. g. toilets, sinks, and basic electrical/mechanical systems.
  • Rapidly respond to operational issues, diagnosing and resolving problems to minimise downtime, and contacting external third-party Engineers/Contractors when needed.
  • Conduct safety inspections, maintain accurate work logs, ensure site standards are met, and support on-site contractors.
  • Work closely with Operations to assist with layout adjustments and continuous improvement projects.
  • What We’re Looking For
  • Practical background in facilities or maintenance within a warehouse, distribution, manufacturing or other industrial setting.
  • Strong general repair abilities spanning mechanical, building fabric, and basic electrical tasks.
  • Safety-first approach with a solid understanding of H&S standards, strong task prioritisation, and great communication skills.
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a shift team.
