What You'll Be Doing
- Manage a varied housing litigation caseload: disrepair, possession, anti‑social behaviour, service charge recovery and leasehold disputes
- Provide practical, solutions‑focused legal advice to colleagues and stakeholders
- Represent the organisation in legal proceedings and oversee matters to resolution
- Supervise and support a Paralegal
- Work with external legal providers to secure high‑quality, value‑for‑money outcomes
- Support the Head of Legal and deputise when required
- Help operational teams manage legal risk and deliver excellent customer services

Salary
Spot salary: £64,405 for applicants fully meeting requirements. If developing some skills/experience, start at 5% or 10% below with clear progression to full rate.
About You
Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with experience managing complex housing litigation and providing clear, pragmatic legal advice. You work confidently independently and collaboratively, build strong stakeholder relationships, and translate complex legal issues into practical guidance. You’re organised and proactive, balancing competing priorities, managing risk and delivering high‑quality outcomes in a fast‑paced environment. Most importantly, you’re passionate about delivering customer‑focused legal services.
