HireForce is working with a Private Equity firm based in Mayfair, who have a requirement for a Financial Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate would be responsible for maintaining their financial records, preparing financial statements, and analyse financial data. The minimum qualification required is a bachelors degree in accounting, finance or a related field and two to three years of experience in accounting or finance, including Industry experience. Responsibilities include: Preparation of annual statutory accounts, including financial transactions and bank reconciliations Preparing and filing monthly/bi-monthly tax returns & VAT returns for a company Providing general support to Management, Finance and Investment teams where needed Assist in month end close for all designated entities Assist with audit preparation and all relevant filings Ability to work independently, primarily by taking ownership of the accounting software and all associated interfaces by managing improvements, upgrades, and implementation of any new systems Ad hoc financial duties as required including responding to compliance requests Knowledge, Skills and Experience: 2-3 years experience including Industry experience in accounting Fully qualified ACA/ACCA or equivalent qualification Knowledge of accounting software experience with Xero is preferable but not required Remuneration Competitive Salary, Bonus, Pension and Health Insurance.
