QA Analyst<\/span><\/h1>London | Hybrid | Up to £40,000 + Bonus<\/span><\/h3>A growing specialist insurance business is looking to appoint a QA Analyst to join its Technology team.<\/span><\/p>This opportunity offers genuine ownership of quality assurance activities within a collaborative technology function, where quality is viewed as a key part of successful delivery rather than simply a testing exercise.<\/span><\/p>Working closely with Delivery, Business Analysis and Project Management teams, the successful candidate will take responsibility for QA and UAT activities across a variety of business and technology initiatives, helping to ensure systems and processes are delivered to a consistently high standard.<\/span><\/p>The Role<\/span><\/h3>Key responsibilities will include:<\/span><\/p>Owning QA and UAT activities across projects and change initiatives<\/span><\/li>Designing, documenting and executing test plans and test cases<\/span><\/li>Performing functional and regression testing<\/span><\/li>Identifying, logging and tracking defects through to resolution<\/span><\/li>Working closely with stakeholders across Technology and the wider business<\/span><\/li>Communicating testing progress, risks and outcomes clearly and effectively<\/span><\/li>Supporting the continuous improvement of testing processes and standards<\/span><\/li><\/ul>Skills & Experience<\/span><\/h3>The successful candidate will possess:<\/span><\/p>Previous experience as a QA Analyst, Test Analyst or Software Tester<\/span><\/li>Strong manual testing experience<\/span><\/li>Experience creating and executing test plans and test cases<\/span><\/li>Experience managing and tracking defects<\/span><\/li>Excellent attention to detail<\/span><\/li>Strong communication and stakeholder management skills<\/span><\/li>A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership<\/span><\/li><\/ul>Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and working within Agile delivery environments would be advantageous.<\/span><\/p>The Package<\/span><\/h3>Salary up to £40,000<\/span><\/li>Discretionary annual bonus of up to 15%<\/span><\/li>Hybrid working arrangement<\/span><\/li>25 days annual leave, increasing by one day per year for the first five years<\/span><\/li>Overseas working policy allowing up to four weeks per year abroad<\/span><\/li>Matched pension scheme<\/span><\/li>Income protection<\/span><\/li>4x death in service<\/span><\/li>Enhanced maternity and paternity benefits<\/span><\/li><\/ul>Location<\/span><\/h3>The role is based in Central London, close to Aldgate and Whitechapel stations.
