Quality Inspector (Day Shift / Night Shift)
Shifts Available:
- Day Shift (Monday to Friday) Monday Thursday 7:30am - 4:30pm, Friday 7:30am 12:15pm
- Night Shift (Monday to Friday) Monday - Wednesday 6 pm 6am, Thursday 6pm 10:15pm (Thursday nights shift may work till 6am)
Reporting To: Quality Manager
Role Overview
We are an Aerospace component manufacturer looking for experienced and motivated Quality Inspectors to join our engineering team on both day and night shifts. The successful candidates will be responsible for inspecting precision-machined components and ensuring products meet customer specifications, engineering drawings, and company quality standards.
Applicants should have a background in engineering or manufacturing and be fully familiar with the use of a wide range of inspection and measurement equipment. Training will be provided on company-specific processes and systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform first-off, in-process, and final inspection of machined components.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and quality documentation.
- Verify component dimensions, tolerances, and finishes against customer requirements.
- Use a variety of inspection and measuring equipment to ensure product conformity.
- Complete inspection reports and maintain accurate quality records.
- Identify non-conforming products and support root cause investigations.
- Work closely with production personnel to resolve quality issues.
- Ensure compliance with company quality procedures and customer requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the quality department.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in an engineering or precision manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and geometric tolerances. xgikmsk

- Competent in the use of inspection equipment, including:
- Vernier calipers
- Micrometers
- Height gauges
- Bore gauges
- Thread gauges
- Plug gauges
- Slip gauges
