Our client is a part of a national Food distribution group which has depots throughout the UK specialising in the distribution of import, wholesale and distribution of Food.
The ideal Depot Manager will:
- Provide inspired leadership for the regional depot.
- Ensure all KPIs are met in areas of safety, quality, productivity, cost and Customer Service.
- Develop, implement and review operational policies and procedures.
- Assist HR with recruiting when necessary.
- Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale.
- Work with senior stakeholders to deliver business strategy.
- Introduce lean methodologies into the business, reducing waste and improving costs per unit.
- Identify and address problems and opportunities for the company.
- Build alliances and partnerships with other organisations.
- Build a high-performance team.
- As part of the wider team, build an effective communication and engagement strategy for the site and deliver on this.
