A growing, well established food manufacturer in Wolverhampton is looking for a hands on Packaging / Graphic Designer to take ownership of packaging artwork and wider marketing design. You’ll manage packaging projects end to end, from briefs and artwork builds through to proofs, approvals, and print-ready files.
What we’re looking for:
- Adobe Creative Suite strength - InDesign is essential
- Confident day-to-day user of InDesign
- Photoshop proficiency strongly preferred
- Illustrator is a bonus
- Real product packaging experience (not just general design)
- Experience producing product packaging artwork in a print environment
- Good understanding of print processes, artwork setup, and basic pre-press
- Comfortable handling proofing, amends, and supplier feedback loops
- Project management and independence
- Able to run multiple artwork projects at once and hit deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects independently and keep stakeholders aligned
What you’ll do:
- Own packaging artwork creation and updates, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and brand consistency
- Design and amend artwork across packaging, brochures, datasheets, and sales materials
- Manage artwork files, version control, approvals, and sign-off
- Work closely with Technical, NPD and Quality teams on packaging content, legal text and allergen information
- Liaise with printers and packaging suppliers to deliver print-ready files and smooth production
- Support marketing activity, including website updates, visuals, product launches, promotions, and trade activity
