We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Nursery Room Leader to oversee daily operations of an early childhood education facility. This role is critical in maintaining a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for children aged 0-5. The position requires strong leadership, compliance with childcare regulations, and collaboration with parents and staff to support children’s growth and learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily care and education of children in a nursery setting, ensuring all health and safety standards are met.
- Develop and implement appropriate learning activities that align with educational frameworks and developmental goals.
- Supervise and mentor nursery staff, including assistants and volunteers, to maintain high-quality care.
- Maintain accurate records of children’s progress, attendance, and developmental milestones.
- Communicate regularly with parents on children’s development, concerns, and care plans.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in early childhood education, childcare, or a related field.
- Valid certification in childcare, nursing, or early education, as required by local regulations.
- Strong knowledge of child protection policies, health and safety standards, and educational best practices.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team while fostering a positive and inclusive environment.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with parents, staff, and regulatory bodies.
