Role Overview:
This contractual role involves delivering structured group exercise sessions to employees or community groups in a corporate or institutional setting. The position supports workforce well-being initiatives by providing accessible, engaging fitness programs tailored to participant needs. Daily responsibilities include session planning, participant engagement, and adherence to safety protocols in on-site environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead dynamic group exercise sessions for 10–30 participants of varying fitness levels, ensuring inclusive participation and energy management.
- Design and execute weekly workout plans aligned with current fitness trends and safety standards for indoor or on-site facilities.
- Maintain equipment and sanitize shared spaces before and after each session to meet health and hygiene requirements.
- Track attendance and report participation metrics to client management for program evaluation and improvement.
- Collaborate with HR or wellness teams to integrate exercise programs with broader employee health initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Current certification in group fitness instruction from a recognized organization such as ACE, NASM, or AFAA.
- Minimum 1 year of experience leading group exercise classes in corporate, healthcare, or community settings.
- Knowledge of safe exercise practices for diverse populations, including modifications for injuries or mobility limitations.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and engage participants of all ages and fitness backgrounds.
- CPR/AED certification and valid first‑aid training required at time of hire.
