We’re looking for a talented Head Chef to lead the kitchen at this well-regarded, independent Gastropub in South West London, known for its seasonal, ingredient‑led menus. This is a great opportunity for a creative Head Chef to take full control of the food offer, delivering fresh, seasonal and innovative dishes while maintaining strong standards and consistency in a busy, quality‑driven environment.
The Role
- Full responsibility for kitchen operations and team leadership
- Creating and delivering seasonal, menu‑led dishes
- Managing GP, stock control, and kitchen performance
- Maintaining high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation
- Training and developing a small, dedicated kitchen team
The Ideal Candidate
- Current Head Chef or strong Sous ready to step up
- Experience in 2 AA Rosette or equivalent would be great
- Passion for seasonal, British produce and menu creativity
- Experience in fresh food, gastropub, or similar environments
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Commercially aware with a good understanding of kitchen financials
