What will you be doing:
- Deliver lessons in line with pre-prepared lesson plans but also open to bringing your own resources to teach from should you ever need to
- Manage classroom behaviour whilst creating and maintaining a positive and supportive learning environment
- Promote the safety and wellbeing of pupils in line with the school's safeguarding policy
- Provide additional support to pupils with additional learning needs as the class teacher but also working closely with any class Teaching Assistants (if applicable)
Requirements:
- Obtain UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Excellent behaviour and class management skills
- Ability to tailor lessons and teaching style accordingly to a range of needs and abilities
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- A passion for education and pupil progression
