A leading specialist in the design and delivery of modular buildings is looking for a Technical Sales Executive to join its growing commercial team. This is an ideal opportunity for a technically minded graduate or early-career professional keen to step into the commercial side of construction and engineering.
You will be part of a fast-paced team working on high-profile healthcare projects across the UK, with the chance to work closely with major clients and take on real responsibility from day one.
The Role
As Technical Sales Executive, you'll take ownership of both new business development and existing account growth. You will act as a key link between clients and internal teams, helping shape project proposals, ensuring clear communication, and supporting project delivery through to handover. The role offers a unique blend of sales, technical understanding, and project coordination, giving you a chance to influence outcomes at every stage of the client journey.
Technical Sales Executive Responsibilities:
- Developing strong, long-lasting relationships with existing customers and key stakeholders
- Generating new business and expanding current client accounts through proactive outreach and networking
- Acting as the link between clients and internal departments (including design, commercial, and delivery teams)
- Ensuring the smooth progression of projects from initial enquiry through to handover
- Producing clear, compelling proposals and tender documentation that meet client requirements
- Representing the business at industry events, client meetings, and site visits
- Supporting ongoing marketing efforts including updating brochures, case studies, and sales materials
- Contributing to the commercial and technical strategy by providing market and competitor insights
- Reporting regularly on pipeline activity and project progress

Technical Sales Executive Requirements:
- Ideally degree-educated (technical/engineering discipline preferred, but not essential)

- Organised, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, project-led environment
- Any experience in proposal writing, technical sales, or account management is a bonus
