What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting pupils in class on a 1:1 basis, in small groups, or as general classroom support
- Assisting the class teacher with the delivery of engaging lessons and activities
- Helping to create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
- Supporting pupils with additional needs, including SEN where required
- Encouraging pupil engagement, confidence, and positive behaviour
- Supervising pupils during activities, transitions, and break times when needed
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience working with children in a primary school or similar setting (desirable)
- A caring, patient, and positive approach to supporting pupils
- Ability to adapt to different school environments and year groups
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A proactive and reliable attitude
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
