WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
- Provide expert advice and support on heritage and archaeological matters, working closely with clients, planning colleagues, developers, architects, and local authorities.
- Ensure compliance with heritage and planning legislation while contributing to a variety of heritage assessments and planning applications.
- Provide specialist advice on heritage and archaeology issues, ensuring compliance with national planning policies and heritage legislation.
- Prepare Heritage Statements, Archaeological Desk Based Assessments, Impact Assessments, and other documentation for planning applications.
- Assess the significance of heritage assets and provide recommendations to clients on how to preserve or enhance their value.
- Liaise with local planning authorities, Historic England, and other stakeholders on heritage-related matters.
- Conduct site visits and heritage appraisals to assess potential impacts of proposed developments.
