Due to continued growth, a respected planning consultancy is looking to appoint an Associate or Associate Director to its Newcastle team. The practice advises on a wide range of planning matters across the public and private sectors and is known for delivering pragmatic, commercially aware planning advice.

THE ASSOCIATE / ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR ROLE:
You’ll play a key role in delivering and managing town planning projects, supporting clients through the planning process from early advice to determination. The position involves managing applications and appeals, advising clients on planning strategy, supporting junior staff, and contributing to business development. While the role is firmly town planning focused, experience or interest in green infrastructure and sustainable development would be welcomed.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Proven experience in town planning within a consultancy or similar environment
- Strong track record of managing planning applications and client relationships
- Commercially minded with the ability to provide clear, practical advice
- Experience with or exposure to green infrastructure projects would be beneficial
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
