Hirecracker Education are recruiting confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to work in our partner mainstream Secondary Schools across Chester and Ellesmere Port. We welcome graduates looking to gain valuable classroom experience before teacher training, experienced Cover Supervisors, Teaching Assistants ready to step up, or individuals with transferable skills who are interested in working within education.

What will you be doing:
- Supervising classes during teacher absences using pre-set lesson plans
- Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring students remain engaged with learning
- Delivering instructions clearly and maintaining a focused learning environment
- Supporting students with questions while encouraging independent learning
- Promoting student safety and wellbeing in line with school safeguarding policies
- Reporting back to teaching staff on behaviour, attendance and lesson outcomes
Requirements:
- Experience working with young people (education, coaching, youth work or similar)
- Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead a classroom independently
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
