SEN Teaching Assistant – Ellesmere Port
Salary: Daily pay rate between £105 and £115 paid weekly
Contract: Wide variety of opportunities on a flexible, short-term, long-term and permanent basis
Experience: School experience welcomed but not essential
Hirecracker Education are working with a range of Special Educational Needs Schools in Ellesmere Port and across the Wirral who are looking to expand their teams of SEN support staff. We are looking for caring and nurturing support staff to make a lasting impact on the lives of children and young people with complex care needs, profound and multiple learning difficulties, severe autism and disabilities.
You will have access to highly experienced and supportive teams who will guide and train you if this is your first step into education.

What will you be doing:
- Supporting students across each class and on a 1:1 basis with tailored learning objectives and EHCPs
- Offer pastoral care, personal care and emotional support to pupils within the school setting
- Supporting emotional regulation and learning through a range of activities, lessons and therapies
- Provide constructive feedback to both pupils and teachers regarding progress, achievements, behaviour, attendance, and overall wellbeing
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people with additional needs in a school, care, residential support, youth work, mental health, personal assistant, nursing or community setting
- A caring, patient and nurturing nature to support children and young people with complex care needs
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
