Flexible Supply Teacher – Chester & Ellesmere Port
Salary: £150–£170 per day (DOE), paid weekly

Are you a passionate and adaptable Primary Teacher looking for flexible work in supportive school environments? Hirecracker Education are working with a range of inclusive and welcoming mainstream primary schools across Chester and Ellesmere Port who are seeking reliable Supply Teachers to cover classes on a flexible basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in a variety of school settings, teach across different year groups, and enjoy a healthy work–life balance that fits around your availability.
What you’ll be doing:
- Delivering pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
- Maintaining a positive, safe, and engaging classroom environment
- Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Ensuring continuity of learning in the absence of the class teacher
- Supporting pupils’ academic and social development
- Liaising with school staff to ensure a smooth handover and consistent approach
What we’re looking for:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- ECTs and experienced teachers welcomed
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills
- Flexibility and confidence to teach across different year groups
- A positive, professional, and reliable attitude
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
