The Work You'll Do: As an Enterprise Account Manager, you will drive the growth and retention of our client base by managing contract reviews and identifying opportunities for clients to expand their use of Sovos compliance solutions. You will develop and execute strategic sales engagement plans, ensuring clients receive maximum value while supporting their compliance needs. Your expertise will help shape client relationships and position Sovos as a trusted partner in their compliance journey.
- Review and assess client contracts to identify opportunities for increased adoption of Sovos products and services
- Develop and manage a robust sales engagement strategy, including prospecting and customer-centric sales process management
- Grow and manage a balanced pipeline across your assigned territory, consistently achieving business growth and revenue targets
- Deliver profitable new agreements and accurately forecast performance within your territory
- Build and maintain a track record of consistent performance and accountability, managing complex agreements in large enterprises
- Provide accurate and detailed sales data using Salesforce.com
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to accelerate deal closure and share best practices
- Represent Sovos at client meetings, industry events, and trade shows, acting as a thought leader and trusted advisor
What We Need From You:
- Proven experience in account management and quota-carrying sales, with a preference for business-to-business and SaaS environments
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding annual sales quotas and growing a book of business
- Strong ability to present value-based, consultative agreements by understanding client needs and shaping long-term relationships
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate complex negotiations and challenging conversations
- Proactive, self-motivated team player with a commitment to personal development and continuous learning
- Skilled in using technology, including phone systems and CRM software, to fulfil work requirements
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 25%) for client meetings and Sovos events
- Ability to pass background and drug checks as required by client contractual obligations
