The Work You'll Do
As Director of Partner and Value Enablement, you will lead the enablement strategy for Sovos partners and internal teams, driving scalable programs that empower partners to sell, implement, and support Sovos solutions to a consistent standard. You will champion the Certified Partner Program, ensuring partners are equipped to operate independently and effectively. Internally, you will define and execute enablement initiatives that leverage AI-driven approaches to enhance solution value, implementation readiness, and ongoing regulatory knowledge. This strategic leadership role requires close collaboration with Product, Marketing, Sales, and other stakeholders to ensure enablement programs are practical, measurable, and aligned with business priorities.
- Lead the development and execution of scalable partner enablement programs, including the Certified Partner Program.
- Align certification requirements with partner tiers and program expectations in collaboration with Partner Programs and Account Management.
- Establish and manage recertification cycles to maintain up-to-date partner certifications.
- Develop and deliver enablement assets such as reference architectures, ERP integration guides, and mandate-specific resources.
- Track and analyse certified partner performance to continuously improve curriculum and certification models.
- Build and execute technical enablement plans for Sales Engineering, Professional Services, and Support teams.
- Champion AI-forward enablement best practices and drive innovation across enablement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify enablement needs, refresh content, and integrate partners into direct sales motions.
What We Need From You
- A proven track record of recruiting, growing and building pipeline with alliance partners across co-sell engaged, co-sell sourced and resell motions.
- A growth mindset in an organisation that is focused on driving value both for our partners, and with our partners.
- Experience in working with resell partners and the opportunities for them in the market; including knowledge of business models and joint GTM strategies.
- Prior ERP, indirect tax and VAT experience highly desirable.
- Ability and passion for developing, establishing, and closing strategic partnerships/accounts and working closely with sales teams in competitive environments.
- Demonstrable results driving incremental sales to and through partners.
- Proven ability to achieve individual sales objectives and drive accurate forecasting of partner business.
- Strong collaboration skills both within field sales and professional services leadership as well as partner corporate and strategy leaders.
- Ability to travel; up to 20% of the time.
