We\'re looking for a Plant & Tool Hire Manager to join us at our brand new store in Cambridge (Nuffield Road)!

With over 90 branches across the country and big plans for expansion, we’re on the lookout for self-motivated individuals to join us on this exciting journey!
As we gear up to boost our market presence, we’re searching for an experienced Plant & Tool Hire Manager to lead their own team through this exciting phase of growth. Reporting directly to the Regional Manager, this is a hands-on role that demands sharp attention to detail and a relentless focus on delivering the top-tier service our customers know and trust.

What will I be doing?
- Overseeing the day-to-day Hire operations at branch, ensuring a smooth and efficient presales, delivery and after sales service
- Ensuring your team are properly trained and strive for continual improvement on processes and procedures that deliver efficiency
- Building proactive, close relationships with your customers, understanding their needs and providing insightful, helpful solutions that help them to meet their project goals
- Delivering annual sales budget and full accountability for managing P&L
- Working collaboratively with other colleagues within branch to identify opportunities for customer acquisition and add-on sales
- Completing timely reports, audits and stock takes as required
- Ensuring Health & Safety processes are followed
- Managing and maintaining your fleet, ensuring all tools and plant machinery are regularly serviced, safe and ready for hire
Hours: Monday – Friday 7.30am – 5pm and alternate Saturday mornings 8am-12pm

Hirebase is part of the Huws Gray Group. Huws Gray was established on Anglesey with a single merchant branch employing 5 people in 1990. Since then, we have grown to a Group of companies with around 4,800 colleagues, trading from over 300 different locations in Wales, England and Scotland.
