We are looking for a Plant & Tool Hire Fitter to join us at Hirebase Welwyn Garden City!
At Hirebase we pride ourselves on delivering a high quality and professional hire service to our customers. Our teams of highly competent, experienced and friendly staff work closely with our suppliers to ensure we have the latest branded products available. Itâs our people that make our business great, so we make it our priority to provide the best up to date training to ensure our colleagues can offer expert advice and support.
We rely on our Fitters to complete safe maintenance, delivery, collection and distribution of hire equipment to our customers. Working in one of our depots youâll be part of a team where everyone is putting in the effort in to offer brilliant customer service and to get the job done.
Hereâs what you can expect to do as a Fitter with Hirebase:
- Carry out appropriate equipment and vehicle checks on a routine basis
- Ensure hire fleet is maintained and repaired to the company and legal standards
- Ensure all hire fleet maintenance records are kept up to date
- Keep Hirebase workshop safe clean and tidy to company standards
- Have responsibility of the hire fleet within your branch
- Safeguard against theft of company goods
- Complete distribution of hire equipment using company vehicles
- Follow and maintain company transport policies
- Serve customers efficiently, safely and to the company policies and procedures
- Complete stock takes as required
- Complete other branch duties as requested by members of the branch management team
We know you are more than just a CV and embracing everybodyâs individuality is what makes us great as a team. We can give you plenty of training and equip you with the tools that youâll need to succeed as a Fitter however, you will need a full UK driving licence to drive our transits should you need to attend any call outs from our customers. Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage.
