Hire Driver/Fitter with Class 2 Licence at Sudbury Hirebase
Exciting news—our brand-new location in Sudbury is set to open in early 2025! As part of our expansion, we’re looking for a passionate and driven Hire Driver/Fitter to join our team at this cutting-edge depot. At Hirebase, we pride ourselves on offering a wide range of top-quality plant and tool hire, catering to skilled tradespeople, DIY enthusiasts, and self-builders. With over 90 branches nationwide and plans for further growth, we’re eager to welcome self-motivated individuals to be part of our exciting journey!
Responsibilities of the Hire Driver/Fitter (Class 2):
- Carry out routine equipment and vehicle checks
- Maintain and repair hire fleet to company and legal standards
- Keep hire fleet maintenance records up to date
- Maintain a safe, clean, and tidy workshop environment
- Manage the hire fleet within your branch
- Safeguard against theft of company goods
- Distribute hire equipment using company vehicles
- Follow and enforce company transport policies
- Serve customers efficiently, safely, and according to company policies
- Complete stock takes as required
- Perform other branch duties as directed by management
We value individuality and are looking for someone with previous experience in a similar role, a strong work ethic, and the motivation to succeed. A Class 2 licence is essential for this role.
Hours:
Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 5:00 pm, with alternate Saturday mornings 8:00 am – 12:00 pm
