We’re hiring a Symfony Full Stack Developer to join a growing product team in Cardiff. You’ll work on a modern PHP-based platform using Symfony and Vue.js, with the chance to contribute across the full development lifecycle—from architectural decisions to deployment.
This is a hands-on engineering role where you’ll collaborate with a small, agile team to build scalable, maintainable applications that drive real impact.
What You’ll Work With:
- PHP 8+ / Symfony framework
- Vue.js (and occasional AngularJS for legacy support)
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TailwindCSS, Bootstrap
- MySQL
- Docker
- Git, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines
- TDD, PHPUnit
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of PHP development experience
- 2+ years of experience with Symfony
- At least 1 year of experience with Vue.js
- Comfortable understanding AngularJS code (no new AngularJS code needed)
- Strong understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and software architecture
- Experience working with SQL and APIs
- Comfortable working in a Linux-based environment
