Job Summary

We are seeking reliable, empathetic, and enthusiasticDomiciliary Care Assistantsto provide personal care and practical support to clients living in their own homes. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about making a positive difference in people\’s lives.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including washing, dressing, toileting, and continence care
• Support with medication management as per care plans
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding where necessary
• Carry out light domestic tasks including cleaning, laundry, and shopping
• Promote independence, dignity, and emotional well-being
• Build trusting and respectful relationships with service users and their families
• Accurately record care visits and report any concerns or changes in condition
• Comply with all relevant policies, procedures, and CQC standards

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a care role is desirable but not essential (training provided)
• Genuine passion for helping others
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, flexible, and committed to high standards of care
• Ability to work independently and use initiative
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
• Must have the right to work in the UK
• A valid UK driving licence and access to a car is preferred for travel between client visits
