An exciting opportunity has arisen in the team for a dynamic and enthusiastic Venue Account Manager to join us as we continue growth into 2024.
As Venue Account Manager your role is simple: to make sure Hire Space is showcasing the very best of the UK’s venues, and keep pace with our users’ growing demands for the nation’s best spaces for hire!
You’ll have your finger on the pulse of the nation’s venues and events scenes, and ensure there’s always a steady stream of fantastic new venues joining the platform. You’ll work closely with our client services team to ensure we never miss a venue we need, and build relationships with venue groups, PR companies and associations to ensure our venue inventory is the best in the business.
You’ll be an engaging and professional point of contact for new venues as you sell the benefits and value of our service, negotiate terms and steer venues through the Hire Space onboarding process until they’re set up and ready to take enquiries. You’ll quickly develop a strong understanding of which venues prosper on the Hire Space platform, and which ones our users love booking, and you’ll prioritise your efforts accordingly.
Most of all you will be an ambassador for great new venues at Hire Space, and make it your personal mission to ensure that the very best venues in the country are represented exceptionally well to our quickly growing community of events organisers.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Being the public face of Hire Space’s marketing team, and an ambassador for the brand within the industry and beyond.
- Engaging our community of venues about premium listings and marketing campaigns, and converting new business.
- Creating marketing campaigns and promotional strategies for venues.
- Managing venue accounts, building value and driving retention.
Requirements:
- 3 years sales experience with fantastic results to match.
- At least 1 year experience within the events industry working with venues.
- First class sales and account management skills.
- Extensive knowledge of venues in London.
- An understanding of modern marketing, including SEO, PPC and CRM.
Salary and Benefits:
- £38k-£50k Salary (including commission).
- £30k-£32k starting base salary.

This is a hybrid/in-person role. You may be required to work from our Central London office location on an average of 2-3 days per week, and this allocation may change over time. You should always be somewhere that operates on UK time. Our client base is predominantly in London and it is important that you are able to visit venues, clients and attend our away days in-person.
