Role: Events Assistant
Location: London (Hybrid)
Type: Temporary, Full time until end of October 2025
Days/Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00am – 5.00pm
The responsibilities of the Events Assistant:
- Work within the Advancement and Alumni Relations Team supporting the Head of Advancement and Alumni Events
- Work in a small team who steward our clients high net worth donors and supporters
- Administer the invitation lists for all events during this period and monitor the inbox
- Responding to every email RSVP as required
- Send out confirmation emails for each event
- Data entry onto Raiser\’s Edge
- Log guest names, dietary requirements etc. if required
- Assistance with events mailings/envelope stuffing
- Act as Events Assistant over this period and able to do work to support the team in the run up and on the day of the event – anything from organising a welcome desk, welcoming guests, checking on supplies, ordering name badges, distributing tee shirts/branded items etc.
The ideal Events Assistant will have:
- Previous experience in the same or similar role
- Working knowledge of Raisers Edge
- The ability to act with considerable tact and discretion in dealing with highly confidential information
- Initiative when handling the day-to-day operations of the office
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours and evenings/weekends if necessary
- Lots of common sense
- Scrupulous attention to detail!
