The Conference Director will be responsible for overseeing and leading the strategic planning, organization, and execution of large-scale conferences and events. This role requires a highly skilled professional with a deep understanding of event logistics, vendor management, budgeting, and client relationships. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in conference management, leadership capabilities, and a passion for delivering seamless and impactful events.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, design, and execution of high-profile conferences, ensuring all aspects of the event run smoothly.
- Develop and manage the event strategy, working closely with clients to understand their goals and deliver on their expectations.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of event management, from concept and budget creation to post-event analysis.
- Lead and mentor a team of event managers, coordinators, and support staff to ensure effective teamwork and execution.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, speakers, and vendors.
- Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective planning and timely execution.
- Ensure that all logistical elements, including venue selection, catering, AV setups, transportation, and accommodations, are aligned with client needs.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in event management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale conferences and corporate events.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of event logistics, vendor management, and budgeting.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in event management software and tools.
- Fluency in English.
