These roles suit engineers with strong technical depth, project ownership experience, and the ability to operate within regulated, high-performance environments. Opportunities span multiple engineering disciplines and industries, including manufacturing, infrastructure, energy, construction, utilities, and advanced technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver engineering projects from concept through design, execution, and handover.
- Apply sound engineering judgement to complex technical, operational, and commercial challenges.
- Collaborate with project managers, operations teams, contractors, and clients.
- Ensure compliance with UK regulations, British Standards, and health & safety requirements.
- Review and approve technical drawings, specifications, calculations, and documentation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across systems, processes, and performance.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and support to junior engineers and technicians.
- Contribute to project planning, cost control, scheduling, and risk management.
- Liaise with external stakeholders, suppliers, and regulatory bodies as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (BEng or MEng) in Engineering or a related discipline.
- 7–15+ years’ experience in an engineering role within industrial, manufacturing, construction, energy, infrastructure, or technology environments.
- Strong technical expertise within your engineering discipline.
- Experience working to UK legislation, British Standards, and industry codes of practice.
- Proven ability to manage or significantly contribute to complex engineering projects.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or working toward chartership preferred.
- Proficiency with relevant engineering software, tools, and systems.
