Hire Resolve is assisting Sales & Marketing organisations in hiring experienced Sales & Marketing professionals for mid–senior opportunities across a range of industries throughout the UK. This is a multi-role campaign covering several commercial functions, including business development, key account management, sales operations, performance marketing, demand generation, brand and communications, product/sector marketing, and go-to-market strategy.

These roles suit professionals ready to lead initiatives, influence senior stakeholders, and progress toward leadership pathways such as Head of Sales, Head of Marketing, Sales Director, Marketing Director, or Commercial Director (depending on specialism).

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales and/or marketing strategies aligned to revenue, pipeline, market share, and brand objectives.
  • Own go-to-market planning, including positioning, messaging, target segments, channel mix, and campaign delivery.
  • Manage and grow customer relationships to support retention, renewals, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Drive new business development through structured prospecting, partnerships, and account planning (role-dependent).
  • Plan, deliver, and optimise integrated campaigns across digital and offline channels, tracking ROI and performance.
  • Improve forecasting accuracy and reporting, using data to inform decisions and prioritise activity.
  • Collaborate with product, operations, finance, and customer teams to improve customer experience and commercial outcomes.
  • Maintain compliant marketing and communications practices in line with UK GDPR, PECR (where applicable), and the CAP Code/ASA standards for advertising and promotions.
  • Create or improve playbooks, processes, and KPI frameworks to enable scalable growth.
  • Mentor team members and contribute to hiring, onboarding, and performance development where applicable.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent professional qualification/experience) in Marketing, Business, Communications, Economics, or a related field.
  • 5–12+ years of progressive experience across sales, marketing, or broader commercial roles (mid–senior level).
  • Proven track record delivering measurable outcomes such as revenue growth, pipeline contribution, customer acquisition, conversion improvement, or retention.
  • Experience with common commercial platforms (depending on role focus), such as:
    • CRM: Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics.
    • Marketing automation: HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, Eloqua.
    • Analytics/reporting: GA4, Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI.
    • Ad platforms: Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Meta Ads (role-dependent).
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills (including presenting to senior leadership).
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to interpret performance data, build business cases, and prioritise for impact.
