Hire Resolve is assisting manufacturing and supply chain organisations in hiring experienced Manufacturing & Supply Chain Professionals to join their UK-based operations. These roles are designed for mid- to senior-level professionals with a strong background across manufacturing, production, supply chain, operations, engineering, logistics, or quality functions, and offer a clear pathway toward senior leadership roles. Successful candidates will play a key role in optimising production and supply chain processes, improving operational efficiency, ensuring quality and health and safety standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across end-to-end operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing and supporting manufacturing, production, and supply chain operations
- Managing production planning, scheduling, inventory control, and materials flow
- Optimising workflows, processes, and systems to improve efficiency, cost control, and service levels
- Collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, quality, procurement, logistics, and maintenance teams
- Implementing and sustaining Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensuring compliance with HSE regulations, ISO standards, and internal quality and safety policies
- Monitoring KPIs related to production output, inventory accuracy, on-time delivery, quality, and cost performance
- Supporting supplier performance management and supply chain risk mitigation
- Leading, mentoring, and supporting teams, supervisors, and planners
- Identifying operational risks and implementing corrective and preventative actions
- Contributing to strategic planning, capacity planning, and long-term operational improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline
- 5–10+ years of experience within manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, or industrial operations
- Experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Manufacturing or Production Management
- Supply Chain Management or Planning
- Procurement or Strategic Sourcing
- Logistics, Warehousing, or Distribution Operations
- Manufacturing, Industrial, or Process Engineering
- Quality Engineering or Quality Management
