Do you thrive at acquiring new business and developing fruitful partnerships? Would enhancing the social mobility of underrepresented young people drive you? This is a brand-new position for a tenacious revenue generating professional to become the charity's first Head of Business Development within 12 months.
Start date: April/May/June 2026
Reporting to: Director of Development
Contract & hours: Permanent. Full-time or part-time (min 4 days pw)
Direct Reports: None
Hybrid: 1-2 days pw in East London
Responsibilities:
- Identifying new business development opportunities
- Developing and building a robust pipeline of new prospects
- Securing multi-year agreements with corporates across the Corporate and Trusts and Foundations sector
- Work with the SLT to develop and implement their longer-term income generation strategy
Qualifications:
- Successfully identified, secured and developed multiple long-term corporate partnerships at 5-6 figures
- Experience in planning and managing corporate fundraising programmes
- An understanding of corporate CSR programmes
- A background of working across the education, employability and/or the charity sector
