We are looking to speak with both Registered Managers and Deputy Managers who are ready for the next step-up in their career. This is an opportunity to lead a growing home for young people (11-17) with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD). Set on a quiet new-build estate in central Bedford in easy reach of the A421/A428, this is a residential care home within a stable and committed team that embodies a supportive culture.
Transitioning from supporting one young person to operating at full three-bed capacity, you will actively shape this home's journey, and will be tasked with:
- Embedding therapeutic practice
- Strengthening the workplace culture
- Maintaining the high standards already in place
The home is therapeutically informed, which means that PACE and practical relational approaches are already embedded across the home.
Why this role is available: The current Registered Manager is progressing into a senior role and will be leaving in approximately six weeks. A full handover is available, and if your notice period is longer, the organisation can bridge to ensure a smooth transition.
The ideal person:
- Level 5 Leadership & Management (Children & Young People) preferred. Also open to candidates working towards Level 5
- Ideally previous Registered Manager experience however would consider high-performing Deputy Managers ready for their first step into registration

Benefits:
- 24/7 Bupa counselling for staff and household members (16+)
