We are looking to speak with dependable Deputy Managers to deliver within a small, three-bed EBD home in Hitchin to support its continued stability. Currently houses two children where one requires 2:1 staffing, and they are currently at capacity. The home maintains a calm rhythm and both children are currently settled.

Why this role is available:

The role of Deputy Manager is available following the previous postholder’s successful progression to Registered Manager. This is an opportunity for someone to step into a home within a supportive culture that also has a clear pathway to leadership.

The ideal person:

  • Level 3 Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
  • Level 4 Family Practitioner also considered
  • Not required to have Level 5 but willingness to work towards is encouraged
  • Open to experienced Deputies or strong Seniors/Team Leaders stepping up

Further information:

  • Hours: Monday–Friday, broadly 9–5 (occasional flexibility if very short staffed)
