What you’ll do
- Take the lead on major procurement projects, working with buyers and prime suppliers on high-value categories like digital services, infrastructure and professional services. You’ll shape strategies, negotiate deals and drive value for clients.
- Design and run major procurements, helping clients understand their needs and create commercial strategies that deliver results. You’ll manage supplier engagement, evaluate tenders and support negotiations that secure the best market outcomes.
- Advise on transitioning from legacy to new frameworks, ensuring smooth contract management and business change. You’ll also review and improve client commercial functions, leading restructuring and capability-building programmes.
- Provide expert support on contract renegotiations and dispute resolution, and deliver effective commercial management on large, complex assignments with collaborative teams.
What you’ll need
- SC Security Clearance
- Experience working in the Government or defense sector
- Familiarity using NEC contract forms would be an advantage.
- Ideally possessing MCIPS or MRICS Chartered status.
