About the Role
Hire It Event Furniture is looking for a proactive Junior Sales & Client Coordinator to support our growing events business. This role sits within the Sales team and focuses on handling inbound client enquiries, preparing proposals and helping convert event enquiries into confirmed bookings. You will work closely with the sales, operations and warehouse teams to ensure client requests are handled efficiently and events are delivered smoothly. This role suits someone who has experience in phone or client-facing sales roles and is organised, detail-oriented and comfortable working with CRM systems. The position provides excellent exposure to the events industry and the full lifecycle of event bookings, from initial enquiry through to delivery and post-event administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Enquiries & Sales Support
- Respond to inbound client enquiries via email and phone, ensuring timely and professional communication.
- Assist with qualifying new enquiries and gathering information required to prepare event proposals.
- Support the preparation of tailored furniture proposals and quotations based on client briefs.
- Follow up with clients regarding proposals, availability and booking confirmations.
- Maintain clear and professional communication throughout the enquiry and booking process.
- Proposal & CRM Management
- Create and update event proposals using internal systems.
- Maintain accurate records of quotes, client details and communications within the CRM.
- Assist with updating proposal information, pricing and product details where required.
- Ensure all client information and event details are properly recorded and organised.
- Order Processing & Event Coordination
- Support the processing of confirmed orders and ensure all required documentation is completed.
- Track order status, payments and purchase orders prior to event delivery.
- Liaise with internal teams including warehouse and logistics to confirm event details and delivery schedules.
- Ensure all relevant job information is accurately communicated to internal teams.
- Systems & Administrative Support
- Maintain product information, descriptions and pricing across internal systems.
- Assist with updating products and information on the company website.
- Ensure internal documentation and records remain accurate and organised.
- Post-Event Administration
- Assist with post-event tasks including processing deposits, credit notes and client queries.
- Update internal systems with final event details and completed job information.
- Record additional charges or changes following event completion when required.
