My client is a boutique commercial licensing firm working with valuable technology assets and global businesses. Operating at the intersection of business, technology, and legal strategy, the team focuses on turning innovation into commercial outcomes through licensing programmes, negotiations, and enforcement activity. They are now looking for a Junior Licensing Officer to join the team — an opportunity well suited to a switched-on early-career professional who wants hands-on deal exposure and more responsibility than a typical junior role offers. • Engaging with companies to introduce licensing programmes and move conversations toward executed agreements

  • Managing written and verbal communications with multiple counterparties in parallel
  • Supporting negotiations and assisting with the execution of licence agreements
  • Assisting with enforcement and dispute-related activities across multiple jurisdictions
  • Contributing to broader business development and strategy initiatives

This role is ideal for a bright, commercially minded early-career candidate who enjoys learning quickly, thinking analytically, and dealing directly with external stakeholders.

  • Educated to degree level, possibly with an IP / Legal or Copyright background
  • 1–3 years’ experience in a commercial, technical, legal, consulting, IP, or sales-adjacent role
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Strong analytical skills, organisation, and attention to detail
