A leading FMCG company, specialising in hot beverages, are looking for a commercially minded Demand Planning & Logistics Manager to support the continued growth of the company in the UK across retail, out-of-home and key account channels. This role will sit at the centre of their UK operation, linking Sales, Key Accounts, customer supply chains, their UK order desk, 3PL partners and Head Office warehouse operations in Sweden.
SALARY: GBP45k to GBP50k per annum
Office based, City of London. Potential of working 1-day a week from home after probation period. Permanent, full-time. Monday to Friday, office based hours.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have full rights to work in the UK (cannot offer sponsorship)
- Experience in demand planning, logistics, supply chain or customer operations.
- Strong understanding of UK retail, wholesale or out-of-home supply chains.
- Confident working with 3PL providers and international warehouse operations.
- Commercially aware, analytical and highly organised.
- Strong communicator who can connect internal teams, external partners and customers.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing business with an international supply chain.
DUTIES TO INCLUDE:
- Own the demand planning process, working closely with Sales and Key Account teams to build accurate forecasts.
- Liaise with retail and out-of-home customer supply chains to ensure smooth order flow and high service levels.
- Coordinate with Head Office and warehouse operations in Sweden to support stock availability and delivery planning.
- Oversee UK logistics routes, ensuring deliveries are efficient, cost-effective and aligned with customer requirements.
- Manage the relationship with our 3PL partners, monitoring performance, service levels and continuous improvement.
- Monitor UK stock levels, identifying risks and opportunities to maintain product availability while minimising excess inventory.
- Produce weekly and monthly reporting on forecast accuracy, stock availability, service levels, logistics performance and key supply chain KPIs.
- Track logistics and supply chain budgets, providing regular reporting, variance analysis and recommendations to improve cost efficiency.
- Work closely with the UK Order Desk team to deliver a seamless customer experience from order placement through to delivery.
- Take commercial accountability for transactions, deliveries, logistics costs and service performance.
- Support Sales and Finance teams with supply chain insights, inventory reporting and budget forecasting.
- Identify opportunities to improve forecasting, route efficiency, stock flow and customer service.
