An award winning supported housing and assisted living service is looking for an Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Services Manager to join its team, reporting to and working with the Business Operations Leader and Director, as well as interacting with external and internal stakeholders and service users. The company offers supported housing and services to vulnerable adults who have disadvantaged experiences, helping them towards their journey into independent living and social cohesion. This is a very hands-on role.

Will be managing, primarily, the organisation's ICT infrastructure and IaaS systems, digital services and SaaS platforms. Bridging the gap between technical support and strategic digital delivery by providing ICT support, leading the implementation and optimisation of digital tools, ensuring system reliability and compliance, and driving user adoption through targeted training and continuous improvement.

SALARY ETC:

  • £54k to £60k, depending on experience.
  • Benefits include enhanced holidays, sick pay, healthcare & wellness support, seasonal ticket loans, breakfast and refreshments, learning and development.
  • Permanent, full-time.
  • Office based for the first 6 months, then happy with either office based or hybrid working.
  • SE London.
  • Monday to Friday, office based hours.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have full right to work in the UK (unable to offer sponsorship).
  • Job related degree such as Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • Microsoft 365 certifications including PowerShell management for mailbox permissions.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office suite skills with extensive demonstrable experience of Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint with outstanding IT and digital skills.
  • 5+ years experience within a similar role, ideally with some gained in a service, social care, or people orientated industry.
  • Essential requirement to have IaaS knowledge and experience, but also with some SaaS knowledge and experience.
  • 2nd Line IT Support role in an IT support role, dealing with more complex technical issues and troubleshooting.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with ability to resolve complaints effectively, and communicate with people at varying levels of abilities.
  • Training skills to upskill and train employees on company software and IT related matters.

AREAS OF ROLE WILL INCLUDE:

  • Strategic Liaison and Support Oversight: Act as the primary liaison between company and the MSP, ensuring user needs are clearly communicated and support is delivered effectively. While 1st, 2nd, and the vast majority of 3rd line support is outsourced, maintain oversight and continuity across all ICT services.
