Job Description
Student Support Assistant – £14.94 per hr.
We are urgently recruiting for two 'Student Support Assistant’ Temps at a prestigious York based University. To help support newly arrived International Students to the campus.
The roles are office based 5 days per week. Working 37 hours for £14.94 per hour. (Equivalent of £28 700 annually).
Temping for 4 months plus.
Are you energetic, engaging and do you enjoy lot’s of customer focussed interaction?
This role will involve lot’s of face to face engagement with international students at the University. Helping to set up activities and events for them. Answering their questions and managing social media groups/ networks.
You may even be a recent Graduate yourself – looking for your first step into a career in Higher Education.
Helping to plan and arrange a programme of high-quality student events, trips, workshops and social activities. You will ensure all necessary bookings and travel arrangements are made.
The successful candidates will provide practical welfare support to international students, primarily through appointment and drop in sessions. You will also show potential students around the campus on occasion.
This is an exciting temporary opportunity within a fun, friendly and professional International student support team.
